The topic of WWIM15 is kindness. @igersedinburgh has organised a meet at Penicuik House and there are still tickets available through Eventbrite. All they ask from you is to bring along some donations to the local food bank. - Opening event: Bloom - more information on 26 June, in the meantime put 4 August in your calendar. 59 Productions, the creators of previous years' Harmonium Project and Deep Time are behind Bloom to mark the 70th anniversary of EIF.
- Opera: La Boheme - Puccini's classic is performed at the Festival Theatre by Teatro Regio of Turin.
- Theatre: Rhinoceros - townspeople turning into rhinos? We're pretty excited about this play at the Royal Lyceum Theatre.
- Classical music: Seon-Jin Cho - I can never say no for some Chopin. Also worth checking out the concerts at St Cecilia's Hall as the venue has recently been refurbished.
