What to do this weekend: 1-2 April

ALL WEEKEND

Science Festival

The Edinburgh International Science Festival kicks off this weekend and we are pretty excited about the two-week-long science fun. Our favourite part is the Gastrofest and we're already booked in for a couple of events. Make sure to book in advance not to miss out your favourite event.

Tales of the Cocktail on Tour

Tales of the Cocktail has been touring the Americas in the past six years and now they are on tour in Edinburgh. Events are hosted by your favourite bars around town, including Bryant and Mack, The Bon Vivant, Devil's Advocate, Panda & Sons, Bramble, Lucky Liquor.

1ST APRIL, SATURDAY

The House of Peroni

Can you guess what's inside the big white box that has popped up on Castle Street? Along with some tasty cocktails, Peroni has brought to the 'burgh the Tilt Brush by Google virtual reality art experience. The House of Peroni is open this Saturday between noon and 10.30pm.

Architectural Salvage Sale

Holyrood Architectural Salvage is having a 1 day sale with 10% of all stock. Apart from gorgeous fireplace inserts, they have lighting, doors, radiators and various furniture with lots of character.

2ND APRIL, SUNDAY

Scottish Rhododendron Festival

How about a sunny Sunday walk along the Botanics' rhododendron trail? Also the Yoshino cherry tree is in full bloom and looks beautiful! Sadly I won't be taking along Mr Enthusiast as he's allergic.

Have a nice weekend!
