What to do this weekend: 28-29 January

ALL WEEKEND

If you were too late to book your T2 Trainspotting Dominion Cinema tickets (Mr Enthusiast prefers their comfy chairs over the average cinema seat), there are plenty other events happening in town to keep you entertained.

Indoor Food & Craft Market

The Biscuit Factory is back with their popular Indoor Food & Craft Market. There will be delicious street food, live music, crafts (obviously) and kids play area. Sign up for the Facebook event here.

Book the Glasgow Film Fest

Although there are still a couple of weeks left until the Glasgow Film Festival starts on 15th February, it's best to book ahead to avoid missing out. Our top pick is a new film by the award-winning Finnish director, Aki Kaurismäki called The Other Side of Hope. If you liked Le Havre, you should also enjoy this one. Browse the full GFF brochure here.

28TH JANUARY, SATURDAY

Goodbye to Dazzle Ship

If you have not seen Ciara Phillips artist's Dazzle Ship in Leith, this is your last chance. The colourful ship has been around since May 2016 as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival and due to leave at the end of January.

29TH JANUARY, SUNDAY

Apple Photo Walk

Apple's next photo walk takes you to discover Stockbridge Market. Meeting is at 11am at the Princes Street store and you need to sign up in advance to be able to attend. If you missed out this one, keep watching their store event space for future photo walks.

Hula Veganuary

Last few days to enjoy Veganuary at Hula Juice Bar - they are offering a free matcha almond latte or turmeric latte when you order any of their most popular vegan bowls. Don't forget to mention the Veganuary offer when you place your order and note the small print (on their Instagram post): the offer is not available on Saturdays.

Have a nice weekend!
