What to do this weekend: 2-3 July

ALL WEEKEND

Spa in the City

Gladly the organisers of the annual Spa in the City decided to have the event in July - in the past few years I have been missing out (we happened to be away every May lately) so this will be my very first one, very excited! Treatments and consultations are free and on a first come, first served basis - worth getting up early to get to St Andrews Square. Join the Facebook event here.

Magic Fest

Summerhall is hosting the MagicFair Lates this weekend, starting from 7.30pm. You will be able to choose from multiple shows, visit the pop-up bars and street food stalls in the courtyard and access the ribbon maze and magic shop. Read more details here.

2ND JULY, SATURDAY

Tea Sampling

Visit Pekoetea in Stockbridge or Tollcross and sample their finest Darjeelings. They also have a 3 for 2 offer on all teas being sampled.

The Gathering XI

If you're into fashion you should jump on the train to join Scot Street Style's Gathering XI at the Glasgow Collective. We were lucky to attend Gordon Millar's gathering at Edinburgh Biscuit Factory last summer and it was a blast!

3RD JULY, SUNDAY

The Poppies: Weeping Windows

Missed them at the Tower of London two years ago? Visit the Poppies in Perth's Black Watch Castle and Museum between 30 June-25 September. Read more about the exhibition at the Festival of Architecture website.

Have a nice weekend!
