What to do this weekend: 18-19 March

ALL WEEKEND

Kitchen Table

Our favourite bakers of Lovecrumbs and Twelve Triangles are behind the newest venture at 148 Duke Street, called the Kitchen Table. They are open all weekend from 8.30am, pop in to say hello and grab some pastries and sourdough.

Kevin Harman at Leith Docks

While in Leith why not pop in to Leith Docks to see some contemporary art. Kevin Harman's solo exhibition, Ltd Ink Corporation takes place at 31 Bath Road at a giant warehouse space. Open Saturday to Monday between 10am and 8pm.

18TH MARCH, SATURDAY

Edward & Irwyn

We first tasted Edward & Irwyn's magical hot choc at Maxi's in Stockbridge and managed to get supplies for home thanks to Mr Eion. Later we learned they have a Saturday shop between 11am and 4pm at 21 Morningside Drive so hoping to give them a visit soon. For this Caturday's Saturday's shop they prepared some chocolate cats, with Dominican Republic white chocolate with dark chocolate spots. Also check their online shop.

Scotland-Italy

You are probably aware Murrayfield is hosting the last 6 Nations match this spring. Kick off is at 12.30pm - we are backing blue!

Marie Curie Garden of Light

This Saturday you can see 2,100 illuminated daffodils at the Marie Curie Garden of Light at St Andrew's Square.

19TH MARCH, SUNDAY

The Handmaiden

If you are a fan of the Korean director Park Chan-wook, there is a special screening of his latest tale, The Handmaiden at the Filmhouse. It's the Director's Cut version so you can enjoy 168 minutes of the master's work. The film is adaptation of Sarah Waters's novel, Fingersmith.

Have a nice weekend!
