What to do this weekend: 7-8 May

ALL WEEKEND

Architectural Films

How about historic architectural films at the City Chambers Quad? Both Saturday and Sunday screenings feature St Peter's Seminary in Cardross which we were lucky to visit during the highly popular Hinterland event. Learn more about the screenings and book your tickets here. Note that the event is outdoors so dress up warm!

7TH MAY, SATURDAY

Hanami

Hanami is Japanese for 'flower gazing' and luckily you don't have to travel as far as Japan to look at some pretty cherry blossoms. A couple of weeks ago we featured the beautiful blooming Yoshino cherry tree at the Botanics and now we recommend a Japanese style picnic at Starbank Park. Sign up for the Facebook event organised by the Friends of Starbank Park here.

8TH MAY, SUNDAY

SEDA Colonies Walk

The SEDA (Scottish Ecological Design Association) walking tour of Edinburgh's northside is part of the Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design in Scotland. You can still get tickets via Eventbrite. The walk starts at 2pm from the McDonald Road Library.

Have a good weekend!
